CUSSP signed on February 24, 2024
The CUSSP, effective for a decade, aims to strengthen the cooperation between Canada and Ukraine across multiple domains in response to the ongoing war and emerging challenges.
This agreement solidifies bilateral commitments to strategically reinforce defence, security, economic progress, and democratic governance.
The CUSSP aligns its efforts with key multilateral forums, such as NATO, the G7, and the United Nations, to ensure a coordinated and deconflicted approach to supporting Ukraine.

Reaffirmation of Canada’s support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the right to self-defence.

Canada’s commitment to provide $3.02 billion in 2024 for macroeconomic and military support.
