As a Senior Research Analyst with The Plakhov Group, Colby is composing a bilateral relations database of 50+ countries and reporting on numerous podcasts such as Foreign Policy Live and the War on the Rocks podcasts, reporting on Ukraine's counteroffensive, and expanding the Plakhov Group’s professional and academic networks.

Colby holds a Bachelor's Degree with Honours in Political Studies from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Colby is passionate about national security, foreign policy, military and strategic studies, and international relations and he is currently pursuing opportunities within international relations to gain experience in this field such as Model OSCE, and the NATO Young Leaders Summit.
