Executive Coordinator

Summary
The Plakhov Group (PG) is an international affairs research organization. Our mission is to research and analyze eastern European and Transatlantic geopolitics. This includes the following topics: diplomatic relations, sanctions, human rights, democracy, NATO, the EU, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, authoritarianism, international security, and other subjects relevant to eastern European and Transatlantic geopolitics — with a particular focus on Russia’s ongoing war of aggression in Ukraine. PG prides itself on publishing accurate, credible, and timely intelligence in a concise and easy-to-understand format.

We welcome applications from suitable and enthusiastic coordinators looking to contribute to The Plakhov Group. This executive coordinator will work directly under the President, and will manage the organization's daily business operations. Some responsibilities include: following up with team members on important actions, updating and briefing the President and the team, handling several administrative duties, organizing and coordinating action within the team, enforcing the organization's policies, and assisting senior members with various tasks and projects. The incumbent will have the following strong set of skills: analytical, critical thinking, effective communication, good judgement, strategic, and teamwork. We are also looking for applicants who have the ability to be creative and not afraid to propose new solutions.

Grant Researcher and Writer

We welcome applications from suitable and enthusiastic Grant Researchers and Writers looking to help grow and expand The Plakhov Group. This role will work directly under the President, and will find new grants, funding, and contracting opportunities for the Plakhov Group. Some responsibilities include: researching open-source information to find grants and funding opportunities with governments and the private sector, establishing contacts with potential clients, updating and briefing the President on opportunities and new connections, and drafting applications for funding opportunities. We are also looking for applicants who have the ability to be creative and not afraid to propose new solutions.

Social Media Assistant
