As a Executive Coordinator at the Plakhov Group, Aarya works under the President to manage daily business operations, coordinate team efforts, and assist wherever necessary to complete tasks.

Aarya is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Medical Sciences at Western University. They have previous experience in conducting research and literature reviews, with research interests focusing on international and mental health.

As a Grant Writer and Researcher with The Plakhov Group, Matt helps to grow and expand the organization by identifying new grant, funding, and contracting opportunities.

Matt recently completed the University of Birmingham’s MA History program, specializing in nationalism, authoritarianism, and European empires. For his dissertation, Matt compared Nazi propaganda campaigns against Austria and Czechoslovakia to modern Russian propaganda targeting Ukraine. He also holds BA in Communication Studies from Athabasca University and has nine years of professional writing and editing experience from a previous career in media.

Matt works for The Plakhov Group remotely from his home in Edmonton, Alberta.
