As the Social Media Assistant at the Plakhov Group, Alex helps to create visually appealing sources of well-researched information that are accessible through the organization's social media channels. They work with research analysts and the social media coordinator to build an online space that encourages education-centered social engagement.

Alex is currently studying in the Global and International Studies program with a Specialization in Europe and Russia in the World at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. They have an academic interest and understanding on geopolitics in the European region, and its global influences.
